Four Season-Long NFL Bets
I recently placed four season-long NFL bets which I think will return good value. I wagered 1.5 units on these bets and recommend you follow along, but the final betting decision is yours. The odds listed below can be found on DraftKings Sportsbook.
+849.5 rushing yards for Rhamondre Stevenson (-120) – 0.5u
Rhamondre Stevenson is coming for his third season in NFL. In the previous years, he made 606 yards in his first season and increased his rushing production to over 1000 yards last season. I see a big potential for Stevenson to surpass the line again.
The big problem is called Ezekiel Elliott. Although, I don’t think his role will be more than rotational and running in the end zone, which he was very effective last season. Also, playing in the same position for the Cowboys, Elliott allowed Tony Pollard to rush for over 1000 yards in 2022.
+10 sacks for Jaelan Phillips (+120) – 0.5u
Following the line of reasoning of my friend @tackleboxprops, Jaelan Phillips is a player that I expect big things for this season. He had 7 and 8.5 sacks in his first two years in the NFL and he was top 10 in pressures last season. In my opinion, If he converts more pressures into sacks and Tua Tagovailoa stays healthy, Phillips can surpass 10 sacks.
Kyzir White to record most tackles + assists in the regular season (+5000) – 0.1u
Kyzir White will wear the green dot for the Cardinals this season, which means that he will play every down. Kyler Murray is out indefinitely and this make the Cardinals one of the poorest offensive attacks in the league, so the defense will be on the field quite a lot.
Last season, White played with Jonathan Gannon and the Eagles as the second linebacker and recorded 110 combined tackles, which was good for 40th in the league. T.J. Edwards was the starting MIKE in the scheme and finished in the top ten in tackles.
This season in Arizona, White will be performing in a role similar to Edward’s 2022 role with the Eagles. White should see more playing time and increased tackle production in 2023 and this makes him a very interesting option at his current odds of 50-1.
Atlanta Falcons to go to the playoffs (+100) – 0.4u
Last season all the teams in NFC South finished with losing records. The Falcons were the worst team inside the division with 2-4 record, but they lost 3 of the games by one or fewer touchdowns. For this season, they added three key players, in my opinion, Bijan Robinson, Calais Campbell and Jessie Bates III and brought players from the divisional rival, David Onyemata and Kaden Elliss, that will be very important for the improvement of the team. In addition, they brought in a new defensive coordinator, Ryan Nielsen who will look to solidify the defense.
Looking to their division rivals, we see the New Orleans Saints as their biggest threat for the division championship. But the rest of the division is lackluster with a Buccaneers team competing for the first pick of the 2024 draft and a Panthers with a solid defense, but with a rookie quarterback and doubts around the offensive line and wide receiver group.
Also, according to PFN, Atlanta has the second easiest schedule in the entire league.
