Dynasty Report – Week 8 Update

Trade Value Up

Quarterbacks

Gardner Minshew – Minshew threw for over 300 yards with a quarterback rating of 119, but he did throw one interception. Anthony Richardson is out for the year, so if you are in need of a quarterback and are a contender, he’s worth a shot.

Mac Jones – He threw for 272 yards and 2 touchdowns. Had a rating of 127. It was his 2nd highest passing yardage game of the season and best rating of the season. He could be a good buy-low candidate if you are in need of a quarterback. But we have no idea what his long-term future looks like.

Running Backs

D’Onta Foreman – Foreman led the team in carries and was second on the team in targets. He scored both rushing touchdowns as well. No idea what he will look like once Roschon Johnson gets healthy but I believe he should have earned at least a split with him for now.

Jahmyr Gibbs – Finally was put in the Alvin Kamara role. He led the team in carries and was 2nd on the team in catches and targets behind only Amon-Ra St. Brown. Hopefully, you did not panic sell him as he looked for the role of a first-round running back on Sunday.

Wide Receivers

Josh Downs – Downs led the team in catches, targets, and yardage, and tied for touchdown catches. He had a 26% target share. The only issue was they only threw the ball 23 times. Looks like a steal for a round 3 wide receiver.

Jordan Addison – He was second on the team in catches and targets but led the team in yardage and touchdowns. He should continue seeing a ton of targets even when Justin Jefferson gets back healthy. He has caught a touchdown in 5 of his 7 games so far in the NFL.

Tight Ends

Darren Waller – It was nice to see Waller produce like we expected him to at the start of the season. He led the team in catches, yardage, and targets and was tied for touchdown catches. It was arguably his best game as a Giant. We will see if that trend continues when Daniel Jones gets back.

David Njoku – He was second on the team in receiving yards and led the team with a 24% target share. He looked like a top-12 tight end on Sunday

Trade Value Down

Quarterback

Deshaun Watson – Not sure what is going on with him besides his shoulder. He was 1 for 5 with an interception. He looked like a shell of himself compared to his time in Houston.

Running Back

Josh Jacobs – He has underperformed his fantasy projection in 6 of his 7 games so far. He is not on the same level as he was last year. Is it the quarterback situation maybe or is it something else?

Wide Receiver

Quentin Johnston – The most targets he has had all year in a game is 3, even with Mike Williams out he is not getting any more targets. They are all going to Josh Palmer.  Now he has seen a slight uptick in playing time with Mike Williams out but I am starting to worry about him.

Tight End

Tyler Higbee – The Rams are throwing the ball all over the place and he has only gotten more than 3 catches in 2 out of the 7 games so far this season. Higbee produced last year but seems to be an afterthought this season.
