Here are some of the most intriguing storylines we have seen in Week 10.
Atlanta Falcons
2 good reps here from Troy Andersen and Nate Landman and 1 bad rep from Ta'Quon Graham.
Andersen sets the edge, Landman trusts his eyes and immediately shoots the gap, taking out the fullback
Graham gets reached, cutting off Elliss. He then holds the RG, drawing the flag pic.twitter.com/LrLCtHVP3o

A head-scratcher here, everyone knows Kaden Elliss is the every-down LB1 role here but the LB2 was Nate Landman, not Troy Andersen. This marked the first time since Week 1 that Landman and Andersen were on the field together. Yes, injuries have been this bad.
Landman ended up receiving 83% of snaps and produced 8 tackles. I see this one as a mulligan, perhaps taking it easy on the often-injured Anderson.
Consider this a circumstantial game and the two will be reversing this role soon. A savvy Dynasty manager might be able to exploit this to his or her benefit.
Baltimore Ravens
Trenton Simpson continued to show relevance with his third 90%+ game in a row. He’s produced 21 tackles and a sack during this span and is playable again.
Dallas Cowboys
Overshown got hurt but was able to come back in. Backup linebackers got snaps in this game for injuries or due to the blowout. In some cases, both. Damone Clark did nothing with this opportunity producing 0 stats.
It was a small sample size but worth reporting. The news here is Eric Kendricks was relieved by Nick Vigil, logging 12% of snaps but achieving two tackles. It was a 34-6 loss for the Cowboys, so it was due to a blowout but managers should pay attention to the switch and keep in mind that Vigil took over play-calling duties in the last quarter of that game and could be taken over the dot when Kendricks should potentially leave the field. Vigil might push Clark for LB3. DeMarvion Overshown had a minor injury scare but returned.
Denver Broncos
The battle for LB2 is concluded here with Justin Strnad winning it, but only 62% of snaps, producing four tackles. Kwon Alexander was not active on Sunday.
Detroit Lions
The Jack Campbell story continues with 95% and 10 tackles but that will change once Malcolm Rodriguez comes off the Injury report. Alex Anzalone is your only guaranteed every-down player here.
Houston Texans
There’s that man again. Azeez Al-Shaair is having a GAME https://t.co/vjEDInvltZ pic.twitter.com/Lv8ux6rrhR
— All-22 (@All22_PFF) November 11, 2024
Azeez Al-Shaair playing 94% of snaps looked great producing 8 tackles, while also forcing a fumble in a losing effort, Henry To’oTo’o reclaimed the LB2 role as well with 98% and 6 tackles, this role is far less secured as Christian Harris is destined to reclaim it once he returns from injury. You can view that podcast here. Week 10 IDP Preview | Streams+ Waivers+ TNF+ IDP+ Betting Props. There must have been a setback because Harris has been due to return for some time but to no avail. We warned IDP owners, on last week’s podcast to get off Neville Hewitt fast and he crashed back to earth this week with just a measly 3% snap count.
Jacksonville Jaguars
If you're a manager of Ventrell Miller or Devin Lloyd, good luck trying to figure out who is going to play more. The only constant is that whoever plays more snaps is the second man behind Foye. Lloyd surprised me with his insane 16-tackle performance. Maybe he's not cooked?
— Matthew Montgomery (@mattmontyff) November 11, 2024
The Jaguars played 84 defensive snaps and now have quietly morphed into a one-linebacker every-down team, and that means Foyesade Oluokun is the only guy I am playing here. Devin Lloyd (75% on 9 tackles) and Ventrell Miller (60% on 4 tackles) will continue to vulture each other. Simply put, neither one’s usage will be sustainable for points with that lower snap count.
Los Angeles Chargers
Daiyan Henley is the only player to own and consistently is an every-down player now.
Los Angeles Rams
Omar Speights getting a lot of action early tonight.
Only got 7 snaps last week as Rams played a lot of dime. Has been on the field a lot tonight on early downs.
— Blaine Grisak 💭 (@bgrisakTST) November 12, 2024
Omar Speights finally emerges here with 73% snaps and gives IDP owners 8 tackles! Rozeboom only played 62%. For those eyeing Speights, he generally has a nose for the football and just doesn’t get enough play, but in this one, the roles have changed. Congrats IDP owners your stash play is starting to blossom.
Minnesota Vikings
Surprise! Both Blake Cashman (80%) and Ivan Pace (59%) shared duties and had a matching 5 tackles and one sack performance. This could be a precaution as Cashman just returned this week from injury. Cashman is your guy moving forward.
New England Patriots
Jahlani Tavai is a sneaky flex play now perhaps by default. With Christian Elliss getting hurt and Ja’Whaun Bentley still injured. We now received news that Raekwon McMillan also got waived this week, this left the team with only Tavai who had 79% snap usage now for 9 out of 10 weeks.
Worth noting is Sione Takitaki is here now, and he signed this off-season for starting money. His issue is being hurt, and he suffered another injury in Week 10, therefore only receiving 47% of snaps with just one tackle.
New Orleans Saints
Saints LB Pete Werner is getting tests today to find out more about the hand injury that knocked him out of Sunday's game early, per interim coach Darren Rizzi
— Mike Triplett (@MikeTriplett) November 11, 2024
Not to be reported enough is Pete Werner (67%) exited the game with yet another injury. Willie Gay would have value if this becomes a trouble.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Lavonte David plays his usual 100% every down role. K.J. Britt‘s time in IDP is dwindling, limited snaps with 64% and three tackles (side note: Russell produced two tackles on just 19 percent), and it’s only a matter of time before J.J. Russell or SirVocea Dennis returns from injury. Get out now.
Tennessee Titans
We all knew Kenneth Murray was a starter, but who could have predicted the rise of Jack Gibbens? Gibbens is causing havoc with 37 tackles in three games, 0.5 sack, and of course 100% snap counts. During this time, he has only missed one tackle.
A surprise: The #Seahawks are releasing LB Tyrel Dodson, who has started every game this season, per @BradyHenderson. He has 71 tackles on the season. pic.twitter.com/RSO0xXKIFy

Bonus: Seattle Seahawks
Yes, the Seahawks were on a bye this week, but they shook the IDP community with this news.
Tyrel Dodson has been one of the top-rated coverage linebackers, ranking 3rd in ’23, and 11th in 2024, according to @PFF. With the Seahawks being razor-thin at linebacker, and the trade for Ernest Jones we all concluded he would play weakside and be part of the duo. Turns out, Dodson was released. So where does that leave this linebacker corps for next week?
Look no further than promising rookie Tyrice Knight to start with LB1 Ernest Jones. It will be interesting to see as this Seahawks team featured two every-down linebackers, Knight never received that sort of volume (only one time gaining 74% snaps in Week 4), so it remains to be seen if this is a fit just yet. We may be on the horizon of seeing a new every down player on the rise, so stay tuned.
