Arizona Cardinals

Zaven Collins practicing with edge rushers.

Kyzir White could lead the defensive and be the top linebacker.

Isaiah Simmons will be with the defensive backs.

Rookie BJ Ojulari is on the PUP list.


Atlanta Falcons

Troy Andersen and Kaden Elliss inside linebackers with Mykal Walker working in as well.


Baltimore Ravens

Tyus Bowser dealing with knee soreness and limping, he will be returning from Achilles injury.

Kyle Hamilton intercepts Lamar Jackson.


Buffalo Bills

Matt Milano will continue playing WLB.

Rookie LB Dorian Williams will focus on learning the WLB spot in training camp.

Tyrel Dodson got the first practice reps at the MLB spot, but A.J. Klein and Terrel Bernard will compete.


Carolina Panthers

Jeremy Chinn working with defensive backs.


Chicago Bears

Tremaine Edmunds will be the MLB.

The coach was asked about possibility of adding more talent on defensive line, didn’t rule it out.


Cincinnati Bengals

Trey Hendrickson agreed to a one-year contract extension through 2025.

Hendrickson will start opposite Sam Hubbard, while rookie Myles Murphy will rotate in.

Hendrickson is a better pass rusher than run defender, and he has struggled at times to get to the quarterback with only 6 sacks in 2022.


Cleveland Browns

Anthony Walker and Sione Takitaki are not fully ready and are practicing on the side.


Dallas Cowboys

Donovan Wilson left practice with a calf injury and rumors are that he could miss 4-6 weeks.


Denver Broncos


Detroit Lions

Alex Anzalone appears to be holding down the top linebacker spot.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson was practicing in the slot prior to leaving with a leg injury.

Tracy Walker and Kerby Joseph were practicing as the starting safeties.

Rookie Brian Branch was practicing in the slot and box.

Jack Campbell earned some first-team reps as he competes with Derrick Barnes and Malcolm Rodriguez.


Green Bay Packers

Rashan Gary is on the PUP as he rehabs from ACL injury, and he should have an update in 2-3 weeks.

Safety Rudy Ford got the first team reps next to Savage, Ford is competing with Jonathan Owens.


Houston Texans

Christian Harris appears to be the top linebacker, with Denzel Perryman and Christian Kirksey rotating in. 7/27

Jimmie Ward and Jalen Pitre appear to be splitting box and deep safety looks. 7/27


Indianapolis Colts

Shaquille Leonard is back on the practice field and practicing with the first team.


Jacksonville Jaguars


Kansas City Chiefs

Nick Bolton missed practice with an illness, Drue Tranquill took his spot.


Las Vegas Raiders

Miami Dolphins

Brandon Jones returns to practice for first time. He has been recovering from a torn ACL.

CB Jalen Ramsey carted off at practice on 7/27 with a knee injury. He could miss most of the season, but we will need to see how the meniscus surgery goes.


Minnesota Vikings

Safety Josh Metellus has been earning praise from the team and will likely play in 3 safety formations behind Harrison Smith and Camryn Bynum.

Brian Flores is new defensive coordinator and will bring pressure from all positions.

Danielle Hunter is holding-in, not practicing but at camp. There have been trade rumors as he seeks a new contract.


New England Patriots

Ja’Whaun Bentley will likely wear the green-dot and call the defensive plays.


New Orleans Saints

DE Carl Granderson and Payton Turner have each taken turns with the first team defense on back-to-back days. 7/27

CB Paulson Adebo and Alontae Taylor have each taken turns with the first team defense on back-to-back days. 7/27


New York Giants

Darrian Beavers is currently practicing as LB2 next to Bobby Okereke.

Safety Jason Pinnock has been practicing next to Xavier McKinney.


New York Jets


Philadelphia Eagles

Rookies Nolan Smith and Jalen Carter have been impressing early.

Christian Elliss may be a threat to Nicholas Morrow for the second linebacker spot next to Nakobe Dean.


Pittsburgh Steelers

Good news, Cole Holcomb avoided the PUP list to start camp.


San Francisco 49ers

Nick Bosa did not report for practice and is holding out for a new contract.

Edge Drake Jackson could take a leap in year 2, coaches have been impressed with work ethic in the offseason.

Austin Bryant and Clelin Ferrell practiced opposite Jackson with Bosa missing.

Oren Burks will get the first chance as the third linebacker spot next to Warner and Greenlaw.


Seattle Seahawks

Jamal Adams, Jordyn Brooks and Riq Woolen are all on the PUP list.

Uchenna Nwosu signed a $59 million extension with the Seahawks.

Rookie CB Devon Witherspoon missed the start of camp and is the only unsigned first-round pick.


Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Shaquil Barrett is back practicing and looking good in 11-on-11 team drills.

Rookie DT Calijah Kancey has been disruptive so far and getting into the backfield.


Tennessee Titans

Harold Landry avoided the PUP list to open camp and appears ready to go, but he may be eased into practice time and have some days off.

Coach Vrabel mentioned LB Jack Gibbens as one of the offseason award winners. Don’t be surprised if Gibbens gets a chance to compete with Monty Rice for a starting spot next to Azeez Al-Shaair.
