The momentum is still on the rise with getting 6 of 10 correct last week. We may have to take some pivot options into consideration moving forward. The halfway point is behind is. The playoff picture is going to start shaping up better for us. With that comes some defenses stepping up while some continue to disappoint. Matchups do matter, but if the defensive play caller is not good, it will affect some guys moving forward. Before we get into week 10 let’s see how we did last week.
*Side note- a sit to me is somebody that will get 10 or less fantasy points for you.*

Maxx Crosby– 26pts – Pass; Christian Barmore– 9pts – Fail; Preston Smith– 5pts – Fail; Akayleb Evans– 16pts – Pass; Jason Pinnock– 9pts – Fail

If you are feeling hesitant about any IDP I mention, then be sure to check out my additional start/sit options. Now let’s get into my week 10 Starts & Sits for IDP!
START
DL- Cameron Jordan (NOLA) @ Minnesota Vikings (START)
Jordan has had some rough games this season. His best game came last week where he had 7 tackles and one sack. His first full sack of the season. The Vikings offensive line is vulnerable. This means there is opportunity for him. They have allowed 20 sacks on the season. Of those sacks 3 came last week with new quarterback Joshua Dobbs. They lost Cam Akers so their run game will be minimal as it has been all season. This matchup screams a possible big week for Jordan. A veteran that knows what he needs to do to get to the quarterback.
LB- Alex Anzalone (DET) @ Los Angeles Chargers (START)
Anzalone has not missed a beat from last year’s performance. Some could argue he is better than last year. He tracks the ball effectively racking up the tackles. The Chargers offensively have been a disappointment. At least from pre-season expectations to me. Anzalone should continue to rack up his tackles. He is averaging 5 solo tackles in the last 3 games. That alone makes him a start in a favorable matchup.
LB- Kwon Alexander (PITT) vs Green Bay Packers (START)
With Cole Holcomb injured with a knee injury, he should see increased opportunity. He already saw 86% of snaps last week. Prior to that he had not seen beyond 70%. This is a favorable matchup for Alexander too. He should be able to get plenty of tackles to get him double digit scoring for fantasy. Alexander is likely a start for me moving forward with Holcomb out.
CB- Jaire Alexander (GB) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (START)
It is important to note that Alexander is nursing a shoulder injury. An injury that caused him to miss practice on Wednesday. It is also important to note that he played 100% of snaps last week. If he can go, you start him in cornerback-required leagues, especially in this matchup. The Steelers will do what they can, but their offensive line just is not good. I spoke about the linebackers last week for Green Bay. Their aggressiveness could cause some discomfort for Pickett causing him to force a couple throws. This would be great opportunity for Alexander to make the play.
DB- Jaquan Brisker (CHI) vs Carolina Panthers (START)
Brisker has missed the past two weeks while in the concussion protocol. He has now logged a full practice and should see his usual snaps. Before receiving a concussion, he was stepping into form, playing 100% of snaps 3 of the last 4 weeks. In his most recent game, he had 10 tackles. The week before that, he got a half sack plus a forced fumble. The Bears revamped their defensive line bringing in Montez Sweat. The Panthers have been underachieving in the run game. This means they may be forced to pass regardless, which would lead to plenty of opportunity for Brisker.
Additional Players to consider starting:
Giants – Dexter Lawrence
Steelers – Alex Highsmith
Cowboys – Damone Clark
Commanders – Kamren Curl
Cardinals – Jalen Thompson
SIT
DL- Kwity Paye (IND) @ New England Patriots (SIT)
Paye was one of my pre-season breakout candidates. Through the first three weeks, it looked promising. He had one sack in each of his first 3 games. That hot start turned into a cold streak. In the last 5 games, he has only a half sack. He does have a good matchup this week, but I do not think it is a must start situation. Until he proves he can get to the quarterback, like he did in the first three weeks, I am keeping him on my bench.
DL- Joey Bosa (LAC) vs Detroit Lions (SIT)
Bosa lives off the sack. He helps the defense by adding pressure to the quarterback. He is a great NFL athlete. For fantasy purposes though, he does not do much unless he gets a sack. I do think he helps the defense in this game. That does not mean he helps your fantasy team. The Lions have one of the best offensive lines this season. I think Bosa may see some double teams this week in attempt to restrict the pressure he will bring. This will result with him not getting a sack, adding him to the sit column for me.
LB- Tyrel Dodson (BUF) vs Denver Broncos (SIT)
Starting linebacker Terrel Bernard is in concussion protocol. This should allow Dodson to see an uptick in playing time. Last week he saw a season high 96% of snaps. My worry is if Bernard is out, the Broncos might avoid Dodson and target rookie Dorian Williams. At least I would. Dodson has showed some flashes of success over the past few weeks. With the possible absence of his field general Bernard, I have my concerns. If Bernard can play, then I would check out my pivot options. That may benefit Dodson with Bernard on the field.
DB- A.J. Terrell (ATL) @ Arizona Cardinals (SIT)
Terrell has been one of the best cornerbacks in the game. Although he has played 100% of snaps in all but one game his performance has been subpar. From a fantasy perspective. Quarterback Kyler Murray is expected to be back, which could open the run game a little more for them, assuming he is back to true form. This would hurt Terrell. He could possibly blanket Marquise Brown or rotate with Jeff Okudah. Regardless, his last two performances of 3 tackles only will have him on my bench this week.
DB- Nick Scott (CIN) vs Houston Texans (SIT)
Scott started off great. In 2 of his first 4 games, he had 11 total tackles. Since the first four games, he has seen less than 5 tackles in each game. Last week’s game was saved by a fumble recovery. Quarterback C.J. Stroud is an accurate quarterback with only one interception on the season. He does not force the throws often. This might hurt Scott, as he will likely have to work to get 6 or 7 tackles alone, to even have a good game for fantasy. I am benching him this week.
Additional Players to consider sitting:
Lions – Aidan Hutchinson
Seahawks – Leonard Williams
Jaguars – Josh Allen
Lions – Kerby Joseph
Browns – Denzel Ward
