IDP Start and Sit for Week 11

Last week we got 60% of our picks correct. We even had to use a pivot option because one player was inactive for their game. That is what they are there for. Those game-time decisions. Be aware of them and use them wisely. Now we are onto week 11. As always before we begin let us take a look at who we got right last week and who we missed.

*Side note- a sit to me is somebody that will get 10 or less fantasy points for you.*

Week 10 Starts (3 Pass, 2 Fail)

Cameron Jordan– 4pts – Fail; Alex Anzalone– 18pts – Pass; Kwon Alexander (tore achilles)- 0pts – Fail; Jaire Alexander (inactive) pivot option Kamren Curl– 18pts – Pass; Jaquan Brisker– 18pts – Pass

Week 10 Sits (3 Pass, 1 Fail, 1 Push)

Kwity Paye– 8pts – Pass; Joey Bosa– 3pt – Pass; Tyrel Dodson– 11pts – Fail; AJ Terrell– 10pts – Push; Nick Scott– 4pts – Pass

If you are feeling hesitant about any IDP I mention, then be sure to check out my additional start/sit options. Now let’s get into my week 11 Starts & Sits for IDP!

DL- Daron Payne (WAS) vs New York Giants (START)

This should be one of Payne’s more favorable matchups this season. The Giants have one of the worst offensive lines according to PFF. Last time Payne played them he had 4 total tackles, a tackle for loss, and a forced fumble. He will bring the pressure this week against a rookie quarterback. I want to believe he will get to the quarterback at least once to get his second sack of the season.

EDGE- Harold Landry (TEN) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (START)

Landry gets a good matchup this week in a divisional showdown. He has 4 sacks in his last 4 games. Last week he had 9 total tackles, a tackle for loss, and a sack. The Jaguars have allowed Trevor Lawrence to be sacked 24 times this season already. They do enjoy to run, but Landry can stop that too. Look for him to connect with Lawrence and have another strong outing.

LB- Alex Singleton (DEN) vs Minnesota Vikings (START)

Since week 4 he has seen 100% of snaps every week. In that stretch he has only had one week without double digit tackles. He might be called upon to cover T.J. Hockenson, whom might be a favored target for Joshua Dobbs. Alexander Mattison has not been showing anything extraordinary that would make me think they will run the ball heavily. Singleton gets all around the field. Look for him to be a huge contributor again this week to possibly help the Broncos win.

LB- Eric Kendricks (LAC) @ Green Bay Packers (START)

Fellow linebacker Kenneth Murray left last week’s game with a shoulder injury. Murray was able to return to the game. If the injury is lingering by any means, it could open the door for Kendricks. This is not a bad matchup for Kendricks regardless if Murray plays or not. He has been efficient with the opportunity given. As of late that has been just over 70% of snaps.

DB- Keanu Neal (PITT) @ Cleveland Browns (START)

Since Minkah Fitzpatrick has been out with a hamstring injury Neal has stepped up. He has averaged about 7 tackles per game. He has had over 80% of snaps the last 3 weeks after not seeing over 70% the first 6 weeks. He tracks the ball. With Deshaun Watson now out for the season this might lead to more opportunity for Neal. Whether it be Dorian Thompson-Robinson or P.J. Walker throwing for the Browns, Neal will look to capitalize on any opportunity.

Additional Players to consider starting:

Dolphins – Jaelan Phillips

Giants – Micah McFadden

Jaguars – Devin Lloyd

Vikings – Ivan Pace

Eagles – Kevin Byard

SIT

DL- Leonard Williams (SEA) @ Los Angeles Rams  (SIT)

Williams has not really found his footing with his new team yet. Through 2 games he only has 4 tackles. He has lived off the sack. The Rams are not the best at protecting Matthew Stafford, but they are not the worst. Williams has not seen over 70% of snaps on his new team yet. He could possibly have his breakthrough game here. I am not going to start him to find out.

DL- Chase Young (SF) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers   (SIT)

The Buccaneers are actually one of the better teams when it comes to protecting the quarterback. Baker Mayfield has time to follow his receivers until they are open. The 49ers can bring the pressure. Even after the bye week Young only saw 61% of snaps. Of that 61% he only has one assisted tackle plus half a sack. He is a superstar caliber player, but I want to see his usage on his new team before I plug him into my starting lineup.

LB- Divine Deablo (LV) @ Miami Dolphins  (SIT)

Even though he looked good in his return from a two week injury, I am hesitant to start Deablo. The Dolphins are fast. They know how to make defenders miss. Plus, they have a strong offensive line. One of the best lines according to PFF. Last week, Deablo saw 67% of snaps. He saw no less than 71% pre-injury. He did have 7 tackles last week. That alone would get him double digit points. I just want to see it again with a bit higher snap percentage before he is back in my lineups.

LB- Blake Cashman (HOU) vs Arizona Cardinals (SIT)

After his monster performance of 100% of snaps and 15 total tackles in week 6 he has seen a decrease in snaps every week. Last week being his second lowest of the season with 55% of snaps. He has only seen 20 total tackles in the last 3 games. He is probably a lock for 5 total tackles. The question will be if he will be able to get a sack or tackle for loss. With Kyler Murray back, it becomes a little more difficult. It definitely will not happen if he continues to see lower snap counts.

DB- Quandre Diggs (SEA) @ Los Angeles Rams (SIT)

This could be a good matchup but the front seven of Seattle is not their strong suit. They have allowed over 160 yards rushing the past 4 weeks. Now the Rams do not have a “star” running back at the moment. They do have one that can keep the chains moving though. I fully expect Stafford to use his weapons of Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. Maybe it is with short intermediate throws in this game script to beat the Seahawks underneath. This might cause Diggs to struggle getting to the ball even with 100% of snaps. Since he has only one interception on the season, you are wanting at least 6 total tackles. I am not sure if he gets that this week.

Additional Players to consider sitting:

Bengals – B.J. Hill

Broncos – Jonathon Cooper

Lions – Jack Campbell

Titans – Jack Gibbens

Buccaneers – Jamel Dean
