IDP Waiver Wire for Week 13

IDP Waiver Wire for Week 13

If you are looking for defensive players to upgrade your roster, check out my list of IDP Waiver Wire additions for week 13. These recommendations are based on a 12-team league with an IDP123 scoring system, but I will also add a few names for deeper leagues.

Teams on bye this week include the Bears, Bills, Giants, Raiders, Ravens and Vikings.

Defensive Linemen

Samson Ebukam (Edge – Colts): Ebukam has been playing approximately 60% of the snaps in the Colts’ edge rotation and has the second most quarterback pressures on the team. He has recorded 6 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 36 tackles so far this season. This seventh season is by far his best statistical season so far in his career. This week, Ebukam will be facing the Titans in a divisional matchup. Samson had a solid performance against the Titans in Week 5 when he picked up a sack and 3 tackles. The Titans are top 5 in allowing sacks, third in sacks to edge rushers, and top 10 in allowing tackles to edge rushers.

Additional Options: David Onyemata, Cameron Heyward and Joe Tryon-Shoyinka.

Linebackers

Christian Harris (Linebacker – Texans): Harris is rostered only 7%, according to Sleeper. He started to have a consistent snap count next to Blake Cashman and recorded an impressive 12 tackles last game against Jaguars. The Texans play the Denver Broncos this week, a team that has seen improvement on their offense and started to allow more tackles to opposing linebackers. The Broncos have become a top 10 team in this regard, even though they were 17th in tackles allowed to linebackers after 6 weeks.

Additional Options: Mykal Walker, E.J. Speed and Zach Cunningham.

Defensive Backs

Mike Hilton (Cornerback – Bengals): A few weeks ago, I mentioned you should add Hilton, but he’s still only rostered 2%. If you haven’t added him and he’s still available, you should finally add him. Hilton’s been playing everywhere on the field and without Joe Burrow, the defensive snaps for Cincinnati defenders has started to increase. He recorded eight tackles in Week 12 and Hilton will be playing against the Jaguars this week, a top 3 team in allowing tackles to cornerbacks. The Jaguars are red hot, having won seven of their last eight games. Trevor Lawrence will look to connect with his leading receiver, Christian Kirk, who frequently lines up in the slot.

Additional Options: Marcus Maye, Ji’Ayir Brown, Quandre Diggs and Zyon McCollum.
