IDP Waiver Wire for Week 3
If you are looking for defensive players to upgrade your roster, check out my list of IDP Waiver Wire additions for week 3. These recommendations are based on a 12-team league with an IDP123 scoring system, but I will also add a few names for deeper leagues.
Defensive Linemen
Bradley Chubb, Miami Dolphins
Chubb is coming from a very good game against the Patriots with 7 combined tackles, 1 sack, 2 quarterback hits and a forced fumble. This week, he will be facing Denver, a team that allowed sack to edge rushers in both games. Chubb is likely to have his running mate, Jaelan Phillips, back as well. Also, here in Brazil we have a maximum called “lei do ex”, which is nothing more than a player facing his last team and having a super match, that I believe can happen against the Broncos.
Keep an eye on: Josh Sweat and DeMarcus Lawrence.
Options for deeper leagues: Harrison Phillips and Andrew Van Ginkel.
Linebackers
E.J. Speed, Indianapolis Colts,
Speed saw an increase in his playing time, from 41% to 54% of the snaps. During week 1, he had 5 combined tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 1 forced fumble. And in week 2, he had 6 combined tackles, 1 tackle-for-loss and 1 sack. If we compare both week, we can see a consistency on his numbers. This week, Indianapolis will be facing Ravens, a top 5 team in rushing attempts per game, which is something that demands a lot from linebackers.
Keep an eye on: Terrel Bernard and Robert Spillane.
Sack heavy/Deeper leagues: Byron Young, Zach Cunningham, Andrew Van Ginkel and Henry To’oTo’o.
Defensive Backs
Camryn Bynum, Minnesota Vikings
Bynum haș been the Vikings’ starting safety opposite Harrison Smith since last season. This season, he is the free safety, played 99% and 100% snaps in the two first games and recorded 25 combined tackles and 1 tackle for loss. This week, he will be facing Justin Herbert and his top 10 attack in passing attempts, which should help Bynum continue producing tackles at a high level.
Keep an eye on: Jason Pinnock and Darnell Savage.
Options for deeper leagues: Christian Izien and Rasul Douglas.
