Linebacker Injury Report Week 10

Below are some injuries worth monitoring as we start Week 10. Please consider these players’ injuries when setting your lineups.

Atlanta Falcons

JD Bertrand being out is not big news unless you are a Troy Andersen owner.  Bertrand has been stealing snaps from Andersen’s owners. When both Bertrand and Anderson were injured, Nate Landman vultured 95% snap share against the Cowboys.  This injury will share up the pecking order better- with Landman going back to an LB3 role and Troy Anderson back to his usual snaps and usage.

Detroit Lions

Malcolm Rodriguez did not practice, in his absence Jack Campbell assured the coaching staff that he is their every down linebacker. Playing alongside, Alex Anzalone who wears the green dot we got to see Campbell receive 92% of the defensive snaps.

Houston Texans

Finally signs of life in Houston! Azeez Al-Shaair is practicing again and off the injury report putting to bed the crazy snap share ordeal that the Texan’s linebackers were doing. Jake Hansen and Devin White are no longer useable. Only play Neville Hewitt in the largest of leagues.

Los Angeles Chargers

Daiyan Henley is the only linebacker worth owning here, as for multiple weeks has been the every-down linebacker. Perryman’s snap usage and now injuries would have made him a risky option anyway so let’s move on.

Minnesota Vikings

Blake Cashman practiced this week, and Ivan Pace Jr. missed Wednesday’s practice due to a knee injury but had limited practice this Thursday. Pace was the green dot defender for three games and now suffers his third injury this season, so wheels up for Cashman to secure his role back now.

New England Patriots

After balling out the week before Christian Ellis came down to earth, only got 58% of snaps. Tavai is back and is the guy to own here, with 88% snaps. He’s not an every-down player, but good enough for a flex, as he gets well over 70% when healthy this season so is a decent option and the only linebacker worth standing after injury set in.

New York Jets

This is a repeat from last week CJ Mosley’s injuries are a concern and Jamien Sherwood continues to benefit.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

K.J. Britt‘s snap count is declining each week, now at 54% he still has value but keep an eye on when returning players such as Russell and Dennis who may push him out of lineups for good. If I was his owner, I would be looking to trade him in a package deal quickly.
