Waiver Wire Adds for Offense – Week 15

Waiver Wire Adds for Offense – Week 15

It’s Stephen Chalmers and Ryan Odell back again with another edition of our waiver wire pickups. This may be the worst year for injuries that I can recently remember. So, if you’ve survived the gauntlet and made your fantasy playoffs congratulations! Now gear up and get ready for the journey ahead. Here’s a few players that we believe can help you win your leagues.

Chase Brown, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

Don’t get me wrong, this is still Joe Mixon‘s backfield for the remainder of the 2023 season. But Chase Brown showed some real flashes last week when he took a 54-yard screen pass to the house. His speed and burst really showed. 17 total carries the last two weeks isn’t a lot of volume to talk about but he’s worth a stash.

Joe Flacco, QB, Cleveland Browns

Broadway Joe! It’s been a long time since Joe Flacco has been in the NFL spotlight but here we are. This Browns team is surging at the right time. Joe Flacco has been amazing the last two weeks. 44+ passing attempts, averaging almost 270 yards per game, and 5 passing touchdowns. At 38 years old, I thought he was just a backup who could win a start of two, if need be. But, he’s shredding right now and it’s fun to watch.

Jake Browning, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Two quarterbacks in this article? Yes, after another injury to an elite quarterback last week, I’ve learned you can’t have enough depth at this position. Back-to-back QB4 finishes for Jake Browning is pretty impressive. I must say, when Joe Burrow went down for the season I thought the Bengals season was over, but here they are in the playoff hunt. He has seven total touchdowns in four weeks (three starts) and his lowest passing total in a start was 227 yards. He’s played rather well, and the offensive weapons are getting healthy. This team may not win it all with Jake Browning at quarterback but they are playing well enough to make the playoffs.

Players we’ve previously mentioned that you need to pick up for the playoff run!!!

1. Ezekiel Elliott
2. Ty Chandler
3. Tyjae Spears
4. Keaton Mitchell

Thank you for stopping by! Good luck in your playoff matchups and let’s chase some Ws!
