Waiver Wire Adds for Offense – Week 17

Waiver Wire Adds for Offense – Week 17

Ryan Odell and Stephen Chalmers

I can’t believe I’m saying this. But it’s our last waiver wire article of the year. The football and fantasy football season has just flown by. If you were fortunate enough to make your championship congratulations! If not there’s always next year. But here’s a few players to prioritize for championship week!

Khalil Herbert CHI RB
I don’t love Herbert’s Week 17 matchup, but D.J. Moore tweaked his ankle and is questionable to play against Atlanta. If their top pass catcher can’t go, I think Chicago will get creative with their play calling. 20 carries last week for 112 rushing yards and a touchdown was a sight to see. Khalil Herbert has been riddled with injuries this year but I still believe he’s the best running back on this roster.

Zamir White LV RB
Two weeks without Josh Jacobs and two top 20 finishes to show for it. White is coming off of his best showing of the year. 145 rushing yards on 22 carries for 6.59 yards per carry was impressive. A great matchup with Indianapolis, who rank 26th overall in team rushing defense. If Jacobs is out again, fire up Zamir White

Clyde Edwards-Helaire KC RB
I truly can’t believe I’m writing this. After all the times I’ve been burned by Clyde Edwards-Helaire (“CEH”). But Isiah Pacheco went down with a concussion during the Raiders game. CEH over the last three games has averaged 3 catches for 45 yards and scored once in that span. Mix in a few carries and you have a flex option here.

K.J. Osborn MIN WR
T.J. Hockenson went down with a knee injury and it didn’t look good. Jordan Addison also left with an apparent multi-week ankle injury. Last week, Osborn had 7 targets, 5 catches, for 95 yards and a score. Obviously a clear number 2 option behind Justin Jefferson. But I do see some decent flex appeal here, especially with this week’s Green Bay matchup, who have allowed 24 or more points in three straight matchups.

Well it’s Stephen Chalmers and Ryan Odell signing off for the 2023 season. Good luck in your fantasy championships this week! Let’s go chase some Ws
