Waiver Wire Adds for Offense – Week 11

It’s Stephen and Ryan back with another waiver wire segment! It’s crazy that we’re going into week 11 already. The football season always goes by so fast. At this point most of the diamonds in the rough have been covered but here’s a few guys we think can bring value to your fantasy rosters for playoff time.

Rico Dowdle, RB, DAL

We don’t want to say we told you so but Tony Pollard, at his ADP this year, is a bust. It showed in his play. He hasn’t had a RB1 finish since week 6. In fact, he’s has more non-RB1 finishes than RB1 finishes. Enter Rico Dowdle. Not a whole lot of volume early on but due to Pollard’s lackluster play, Dowdle saw 12 carries last week for 79 yards and a score. Granted it was the New York Giants and a very positive game script, but I expect Dowdle to be more involved from this point forward.

Ty Chandler, RB, MIN

With Alexander Mattison leaving week 10 in the concussion protocol, here’s a prime opportunity to pick up a starting running back for a week or two. Chandler wasn’t overly explosive with his touches but there’s no one left on this depth chart. With enticing matchups coming up with Denver and Chicago, here’s a way you could add a few more wins as we approach playoff time.

Devin Singletary, RB, HOU

The switch has finally happened. Dameon Pierce is out and Devin Singletary is in. Singletary’s first game starting for the Houston Texans did not disappoint. 31 total touches for 161 scrimmage yards and a touchdown! This Texans team doesn’t scream star talent, but they are playing so well. Pick up Devin Singletary just in time for the playoff run.

Noah Brown, WR, HOU

We didn’t want to write about Noah Brown last week due to the possibility of a “fluke” game but here we are. Noah Brown followed up his 153-yard, one touchdown performance with a seven catch, 172 yard day. Granted Nico Collins did miss this game but Brown is the field stretcher C.J. Stroud needs. Over his last four games played, he’s averaging over 20 YPC! I do think he’ll carry some risk when Nico Collins returns but he’s definitely worth a stash!

Demario Douglas, WR, NEP

To me this pick up is more of a dart throw. The notion that just because he’s the teams WR1, he’ll produce. That’s not true in this Patriots system. No skill position player on this team is averaging more than 10 fantasy points per game except for Rhamondre Stevenson. But I will say this, four or more games with six or more targets does stand out to me. Demario Douglas also had his highest receiving yardage total all year in week 10 with 84 yards. Whether the quarterback is Mac Jones or Bailey Zappe, Demario Douglas should continue to be involved and see consistent volume in this offense.

Honorable Mention!!!!

Only because I wrote about him last week, so I won’t spend much time on him. Keaton Mitchell
After week 10, John Harbaugh came out to the media talking about how they want Mitchell to be more involved. 50% ownership in redraft leagues is too low. Make sure he is picked up if he’s available in your leagues!

Thank you for tuning in to another waiver wire segment. As always let’s go get some Ws this week!
