Waiver Wire Adds for Offense – Week 14

Waiver Wire Adds for Offense – Week 14

Welcome back to another waiver wire article, Week 14 is here! Have you guys clinched your playoff spots and looking for a push, or are you needing a win to sneak in? Either way good luck ladies and gentlemen. Now let’s get into a few players who can help you out this week. Week 13 brought us more heartbreaking injuries including Trevor Lawrence, Kenny Pickett and fantasy sweetheart, Tank Dell. In an unrelenting fantasy world, we must adapt or die.

Tyjae Spears RB TEN: Rostered 46%

We normally pride ourselves by not repeating any players on our waiver wire article, as we preached him as a hold early in the season, but we’re no longer trying to be cute, it’s time to pick up some potential league winners for your playoff push. Spears out-snapped Derrick Henry this week and although Henry got the bulk of the big impact touches, Spears was used in the passing attack. Spears got 6 targets and on the season is just under 5 yards per carry. If the Titans start to ramp up Spears in the run and pass game, he could be a sneaky league winner in our eyes. While also going up against Houston twice and Seattle in fantasy playoffs, those matchups are certainly juicy.

Romeo Doubs WR GB: Rostered 61%

You might have to throw a prayer up and see if Doubs is on your waiver, but if he is, he’s certainly worth an add. Jordan Love has settled into his role as the Packers next quarterback and boy does he know how to spread the ball to all of his receivers. Doubs surprisingly leads the Packers receiving corps in touchdowns with 7 on the season and is averaging about 6 targets per game. With Love coming into his own and a favorable schedule coming up, Doubs offers upside and consistently with 8 out of 12 games with over 10 fantasy points.

Roschon Johnson RB CHI: Rostered 33%

Coming into the season, Roschon Johnson is someone we were high on, but Roschon Johnson really came into himself in Week 12. Prior to the team’s Week 13 bye, he may have finally earned his spot. He and Fields could be dynamic in this RPO offense as Johnson offers great running, receiving upside and is an all-around good pass blocker. Johnson is a rare three-tool back and if the Bears commit to him that 74% snap share we saw in week 12, he could repeat or even beat his Week 12 production. Once again, we’re going for upside in fantasy playoffs not safety.

Noah Brown WR TEX: Rostered 50%

As previously mentioned, Tank Dell is unfortunately out for the rest of the season, and we’ve already seen Noah Brown flourish in this offense. When Nico Collins missed time, Brown had over 150 yards in back-to-back games. We look to Brown to step back into the role as the #2 in this offense. Honestly, the way Stroud is rolling this year, I’m surprised people dropped him again in first place. Take advantage of their mistakes and add Noah Brown and watch him catch fire.

Ezekiel Elliott RB NE: Rostered 46%

Rhamondre Stevenson exited the game early with a high ankle sprain and is expected to miss several weeks. Enter veteran running back, a name we know all too well, Zeke! He saw 17 carries and 5 targets after Stevenson’s exit and for the most part looked pretty efficient despite the downpour in New England this past weekend. Elliott may be a little touchdown dependent to reach RB2 levels but if you’re in need of a flex spot for the next couple of weeks, he’s your guy!

Good luck this weekend everyone, may the fantasy gods be in your favor!
